Nein!

For those of you who don't know, or are too inattentative to notice, I have a strange sense of humor. I'll post several websites that I enjoy. You may find these dumb, unintelligable, or utterly ridiculious. If you do, stop reading and don't ever talk to me. If they spark a jovial laughter, great!
Without further delay we have:

www.redmeat.com A little odd and bizarre, Milkman Dan is my favorite.

www.homestarrunner.com Its childish humor gets me every now and then.

http://www.zug.com/pranks/credit/ The first time I read this I was doubled over with a side cramp laughing.

http://www.stinkymeat.net/ DO NOT click on this while, before, or after eating. Especially any meat products.

http://www.crudder.com/stories/index.html This is ok, not on the top of the list, but it still has its laughable value.

Adams Greek Adventure

I think my family is accident prone. Maybe it's just Adam and I because Kristin doesn't have any strange injuries. Ok, she fell over the banister onto a cement floor when she was little, but other than that she's injury-free.
While on Easter Break in Greece, Adam and some friends decided to rent mopeds(Vespas to be specific).
Here, in his own words, he recounts the event:

We found a dirt trail and decided to take it, and we're going over some really dumb shit with these things, like up steep rocky slopes and stuff. Eventually I hit a small rock that kicked the front tire to the side, and the vespa and I went down. I slid to a halt with the vespa on my right leg for about 5 feet. I only had very light scratches down my leg and arm, like purely flesh wounds. They did a lot of initial bleeding but clotted by the time I got the vespa upright again.
I returned to the beach while the other guys continue offroading. I washed the wounds in the Mediterranean and then, to sterilize my wounds I bought a cheap beer and poured it on the wounds; stung like hell. It wasn't until about 11 o'clock pm when I got back to the hostel and I finally got some sort of covering on these wounds. We've got a great video of the hostel owner pouring peroxide on all my scrapes. Tomorrow I'm going to go out and buy a new first aid kit because I think I used up most of theirs. Anyways, that was my day, sun, sand, and scratches. So that was my incredible, yet stupid day.

Sledding, off-road mopeding, hey we can't all have traditional injuries.
Pics to follow...

Just in case you were wondering...

For those of you wondering what medical fees go for these days, I would be happy to provide you with some up to date, acurate quotes, atleast in Vermont. I'll put some interesting items in ascending order for you, just to compare

According to the Rutland Area Hospital:

$5.13......Topical Solution

I'm not sure how much was used, but there was definately a thick layer of it on my forehead the next morning.

$5.93......IV Solutions
Apparently salt water is cheap.

$8.20......Morphine
My question is this. How is this the one of the cheapest item on my bill? Come on, we're talking a major drug here, and it's only $8????? Who's their dealer, and how do we contact them.

$8.80......Icepack
Really, it was a nice icepack. I'd pay that ammount for another one. However, the pint of Ben and Jerrys did a pretty good job, and was edible.

$16.99......Slippers Adult
You could buy about 20 pair at Walmart for that price. So what if they're sterilized before they go on my feet.

$158......Wound Repair Fee
What does this guy put on his resume "Wound Repairer"? I think "stitching" would be more concise.

Classes

This week was my first day of classes of the new quarter. I'm back at the begining, with the basic drawing classes and type classes. For some of them I'm going to be working backwards- doing sketches, working them in illustrator, and then redoing them by hand. Is this cheating? Hell no! I'm just using a simple tool to assist me in my work.
What I found most interesting about my classes are my professors. My first prof was swearing up a storm in class. The second went over classroom sexual harasment and claimed cell phones weren't even permitted IN the classroom(not even while off), and my last prof has blue hair. A rather diverse group, they all seem very demanding and challenging. Perfect!

A little less graphic depiction...

Ok here are the pics of the slope. I was heading down a green and went off a lip onto a black. The poorly drawn blue line is my projected path. At the time the slope had some snow on it.

This last image is of the rock that they think I hit. My pool of blood was right next to it. Although its not visible now, it was rather prominant the day after.

Killington Pics

These are the pics taken while I was recovering from my little sledding incident. It is 2 weeks later, and my memory is fine. The doc(Dad) said there may be some lingering difficulty with problem solving skills, which I've noticed, but are minor. My right eyebrow is very sore still, I can hardly touch it without it hurting. My forehead is still numb and I can't move my right eyebrow. Nevertheless, the scar is healing nicely and the scars from the stitches are barely visible. I'll just have a little jagged scar.

To the left is the pic taken the morning I got back from the hospital. On the top of my sled is a bit of dried blood... yeah that's mine.
